Surprising sofa bedAnonymous reviewerFirm and sturdy bed. Bought in 2019 for around £200 but can't remember which mattress option we chose. Both me and my partner slept on it for months at the time and while one side is now worn out, the quality and sleep comfort overall has surprised me. It's easy to turn from a sofa into a bed and covers can be easily washed which is a bonus. My only point of criticism is that it is not comfortable to sit on for a long time because the seating area is a little to deep and even though I have long legs I had to shuffle forward or use a couple of cushions in order to have feet hanging off and still rest my back. For the price we bought it back in the day this sofa bed certainly is a winner5
Unbelievably squeakyAnonymous reviewerBought in 2018 but rarely used. Started using it again recently but have had to buy a new bed because it’s unbelievably squeaky - every joint of the frame seems to squeak. Not sure what to do with it because I can’t in good conscience even give it away…1
I bought in 2021 years ago with the price of £199Anonymous reviewerIt still works fine. Only a plastic cup to hold the slat ripped due to movement when sleeping on it. I used it 4 years now with the firm foam mattress. No mould in the mattress as I check regularly. But I would not buy it for the price of today. The warranty of 10 years can't apply when you sleep daily on it as the mattress will not stand another 6 years. From time to time I check the screws of the metal frame. So far no issues.5
Terrible Anonymous reviewerI've bought this to sleep on and unfortunately it's really uncomfortable. I've got the sprung mattress (more expensive option) and one side is coming apart from the other creating a gap. It's a badly designed mattress. I even added a topper and it's still really uncomfortable. 1
Needed an extra bedAnonymous reviewerNeeding a new sofa bed, bought the sprung mattress version. Used 2 foam mattress toppers ( we are big people) had the best night sleep, so much so that when visiting family left we slept on it for an extra night 🤭Daughter and I built it without any issues.5
Great 🙌🏼Anonymous reviewerEasy to assemble, comfortable and very practical 😉 great purchase 5
Top Sofa BedAnonymous reviewerExcellent sofa bed. Easy to use. Great having a loose cover. Recommend.5
Good looking, meh to sleep in, bad qualityAnonymous reviewerI've bought this for my guest room. And hosted a flatmate for around a year. The frame is just not sturdy... I'm not strong as a gorilla and still I bent two legs because I pushed the couch (instead of pulling). Similarly my flatmate (an average weight girl) bent the middle struts by simply sleeping on it...2
The worst product I have ever bought.Anonymous reviewerThis sofa fell apart in less than a year. The slats broke. The plastic housings that hold the slats broke. The mattress as a bed is beyond uncomfortable. The mattress as a sofa is genuinley perplexing. The design of this sofa is such that it is angled towards the floor. What this means is that you constantly feel like you are going to slide off the sofa. As well as this the seat area is so large that it makes it almost impossible to sit with your legs touching the floor if you want to have your back supported. I'm honestly puzzled how Ikea still have this for sale. In my opinion it is not fit for use and I am not being dramatic, this is the worst product I have ever bought due to it's extremely cheap materials that have failed within a year and the head scratching, awful design that I wouldn't expect from a company like Ikea.1
Value for MoneyAnonymous reviewerMy 20 year old son bought this for his bedroom as part of a change of decor. He uses it as a bed. He says its so comfortable and firm. Needs to people to assemble and took just over an hour to build. Very modern looking.5
More like a slide than a sofaAnonymous reviewerFairly straightforward build even though it took a long time. However, once all put together with the cover on as soon as you sit on it you slide forward. The bottom sits on an incline which doesn’t make any sense? Have checked everything twice and all put together properly so just be an issue with the design!!2
