4½ ★ with flaws. Let's see if lasts.Anonymous reviewerOn the upside, it looks really pretty, with its cute little bulb. The idea of the revolving shade is also neat.
The quality is pretty good, mostly metal, with exclusion of the shade support which has a bit of play, by design, and it makes feel the whole lamp less solid than it really is.
The on/off button is nice and satisfying to operate, a nice little touch.
The assembly is as tricky as it gets. It's guided by a very clear warning label, in addition to the usual instructions, so that you follow the steps in exactly the right order. But if one makes a mistake there is recovering, one can throw the whole thing away, because the joints snap together, and cannot be separated again. In any case one has to be very gentle, to avoid damaging the exceptionally flimsy wiring.
I've only had it for about a month, and I use it a few time, but I have yet to recharge it, and it's worked reliably so far. Naturally I cannot vouch for its longevity, it will remain to be seen.

Keeps switching off! Anonymous reviewerI’m so sad that my lamp keeps switching off too. I only bought it three days ago and absolutely loved it – it’s really beautiful but the lamp only worked on the first day. By day two it was continually switching itself off and won’t stay on longer for any length of time. I can’t use it anymore as it constantly switches itself off. There clearly is a problem with this product as this is happening to so many people.

After spending an hour trying to put this together (due to my weak wrists) the lamp wouldn’t even turn on. The lamp doesn’t align with the standards of any other item I’ve ever purchased from Ikea.

On my second purchase, it took several goes before the shade was properly in place. Having said all that, it is a very cute lamp, pretty colours, perfect for a bedside table. I realized that batteries have to be bought separately (8£) when I read the instructions. I wasted 12£ ... I don't have the time to drive another 45min just to return this....
Over priced, No Batteries or Cable - READ Assembly InstructionsAnonymous reviewerI bought this in pink - I didn't need it. However, in usual fashion went ahead and put together without reading the instructions. As well as it being very fiddly, I missed a vital part so shade wouldn't hold. Other half managed to sort it with long nosed pliers, slim screwdriver and brut force. The sections clip together and once in, they're in. Then had to spend another £5 on rechargeable batteries. And, it doesn't come with a charging cable. So, overall, it's a cute little lamp but with hindsight I wouldn't have bought it.
