Wort buy from IKEA everAnonymous reviewerBought the pink and green one, looked great in my daughter's bedroom, however this lamp just doesn't work. First, it must have a rechargeable battery, simply normal batteries won't work because it last so little. Because of that you're already obligated to get the charger. That you only realised once you're home so you make a second trip to IKEA for the extras. You get it all and the MAX the lamp work is for like 20 min? It keeps switching off and every time you put it on it last even less time. Then you gave up. Return. Third trip to IKEA for a £12 lamp that ended up costing you £30 and still doesn work. Please IKEA discontinue this its your worst product ever

Not able to assembleAnonymous reviewerA sweet little lamp but unfortunately can’t put together as one of the screw supports for the shade is stuck and unable to remove to fix the shade in place. Tried with pliers but no luck. Perhaps just unlucky to get a faulty item but it’s a shame as I’ll need to return.

Looks stylish but doesn't workAnonymous reviewerI was hoping if was just an issue with mine but seems to be a common trend, I cannot get mine to work, I put a usb in and it flickers once then doesn't come back on, and batteries just don't last, it's such a shame as it's a really nice lamp, unfortunately its a 5hr round trip so just isn't worth sending back.
HopelessAnonymous reviewerA very pretty lamp and a great match for my decor. But, as others have said, absolutely useless in terms of its function! I've used two types of batteries (not mixed) and nothing has worked. It goes off now within a minute of being switched on. It will be going back.
Pretty little lampAnonymous reviewerThis is a lovely lamp and is ideal to create a warm glow anywhere around the house. I didn't realise the shade could be positioned by using the little handle which I ideally for focusing the light but I can't get the shade to just sit in it's normal position it just keeps falling backwards or forwards. Apart from that I would definitely recommend this lamp

However, there's something odd goes on with the power... Almost like a timer is enabled that IKEA forgot to mention. Sometimes it'll stay on for an hour, sometimes a minute or two, no matter how charged the batteries are. Only way round it is to power it via USB and then it stays on until you manually turn it off. Is mine faulty? Please advise, IKEA!

Such a shame as it’s a really nice lamp but very cheaply made and I don’t really want to make a 2 hour round trip just to return a £12 lamp.

Super easy to put together and operateAnonymous reviewerNo idea why so many reviewers are whining about this lamp. I'm delighted with it. It took about 2 minutes to assemble (the instructions could not be clearer) and my experience of the Ikea rechargeable batteries in other products is good, so nothing to worry about there. The light it gives off is gorgeous - really warm. Perfect for the dinner table when I'm cooking for friends, or just on somewhere in my living room when I'm chilling. Love how portable it is. 10 out of 10 from me. Great price too!

What I will say is yes, having to use the ikea rechargeables is unfortunate, as they don't last well as others have mentioned (a mood lamp shouldn't give you anxiety!) and more importantly; I've had a stroke and put it together fast and without frustration. I can't believe others weren't as happy putting it together.....!
All in all, still worth it. Just don't bank on it as a main lamp of course. It's a whimsical ikea product!
Gorgeous little lamp warm lightAnonymous reviewerThis is a precious little lamp. For those that are having problems with fixing the shade: you must move the golden screws on the sides of the pink shade to adjust it to the desired position. I have used it for long periods and charged already several times. It gives a beautiful warm calming light.
Gorgeous, art deco vibes! Anonymous reviewerI have had to stay in a hotel temporarily, due to mould issues in my home. The lighting in my hotel room is jarring. As a consequence I went on an internet mission to find rechargeable lamps. I found two in Ikea, so reasonably priced that I took my chances, after slightly mixed reviews. I am delighted with my purchases. This is a lovely little lamp, gives off a warm glow or brighter if you move the shade according to need. For the price it looks way more expensive. A few reviews say its shade doesn't sit correctly, I would add, with all Ikea self assembly, read the instructions. The washers for the shade go on both sides to make it stable. Buy the rechargeable batteries with it and use any type C charger wire to charge. I can't wait to take them camping, so chic. Love love love!
