Perfect for grilling porous or small pieces of for example fish or sliced vegetables, as the grate is designed to prevent pieces from falling into the hot coals.
The vents increase the airflow in the bowl, which gives a higher grilling temperature and quicker cooking.

Great but not PerfectAnonymous reviewer(Please bear in mind that I am a bbq novice) I do think the bbq is great andhave tried it out at home and it cooked my chicken perfectly, however it is a teeny bit heavy for camping (but not massively so) but on the other hand this makes it robust. yes, the grill is a pain to clean and one wonders how well this could be done when camping at a basic site? I feel it could be improved with a few extra vent holes as it took a while to get hot enough to grill. Also a lid would be prudent for a portable bbq but realise this would add to the cost - I am utilising a stainless steel bowl that I am going to drill vent holes in and attach some sort of handle! Really good build and providing you look after the grill area it should last a good few seasons. I haven't tested it as a fire pit yet but should hold up well.
Good but I would prefer a proper grille at the topAnonymous reviewerThe grill came assembled and it's sturdy, using quality, thick material and paint. We've found that we rarely need a bigger one so this will not take a lot of space in the shed.
As expected, it was much hotter in the middle but managed to grill 4 burger patties in an unexpectedly short time.
My two issues is that because the top is a metal sheet with tiny holes whatever you put on it has very little contact with the smoke and doesn't taste like it was barbecued.
The other one is that the stainless steel top is really sticky, I doubt you would be able to scrape vegetables off of it in one piece.
it's a little pricey for what it is but I'm happy that it is good quality and not just an imitation of a product.
Great Portable BBQAnonymous reviewerPurchased this BBQ to keep in our campervan for use while we’re out and about. It’s great! Unfold the 3 legs, add some coals, light and you’re ready to go. It cooked a fair amount of food for 5 and some marshmallows in one go and was easy to clean. Recommend also for a small space like a balcony.
