Not the size quotedAnonymous reviewerI purchased this to use with a 30cm deep shelf to put on the top. When I got it home I assembled it and painted both - only to find afterwards that the shelf is 30cm deep but the unit is 27cm deep. Tried with online chat but just told to return it. My local store is a 76 mile round trip and only called in rather than delivery as was visiting friends nearby - not helpful IKEA!
Good, affordable, solidAnonymous reviewerThis is a good solid base for an IVAR cabinet/cupboard. Two negatives are that the method by which you attach the base to the cupboard are a bit crude (but works and feels solid enough). The second is that the legs don't have a cutout for skirting boards, which would allow the unit to go against a wall without a gap behind. Other IKEA furniture has this, and I believe it would be easy to do to this base too.
