Great blind.Anonymous reviewerThe blackout blind type was the best we have seen. It’s quite rigid and easy to fit. Don’t believe the online reviews if you have a decent hacksaw and a sharp Stanley knife you can fit it!5
Really bad design & developmentAnonymous reviewerRubbish would be a complimentary way to describe this product. It’s flimsy, poorly made, badly conceived and constructed design. It’s tricky/fiddly to install if you are reducing the size to fit your window. Please note; reducing the width will compromise were the metal rods need to be aligned - if you’re measurements are out by 1mm the blind will not work properly. I’ve replaced mine after 5 weeks. A waste of time, money and resources.
I will post this review on google, Facebook and instagram 1
Pleated roof blindAnonymous reviewerExcellent quality and looks great ! 5

Hornvallmo pleated blindAnonymous reviewerBought online after viewing IKEA website.
I should have visited the store , but the distance from home was a distraction. Decided to trust my faith in IKEA.
Supplied on time , packaged well, the blind was being used to offer a degree of privacy on a new stable door , the top half in clear glass .
The blind was fitted by me to the door, using the self adhesive fittings ,so very pleased no screws to mark the new door.
Patience is essential ,measuring in millimetres is key. The blind is able to be raised or lowered ,
Very pleased with the overall look5
Fab blinds - easy to install and a huge saving compared to local firmsAnonymous reviewerWe had a quote for made-to-measure blinds for our bay window and French doors. We were shocked at the cost (over £3k) so thought we'd have a look in IKEA and see if there was anything suitable. Found these blinds which were a bargain and new at the time - under £300 for all the ones we needed ( we decided one per window in the bay, despite some needing a lot of cutting down). They're easy to cut (just need a sharp stanley knife and a small hacksaw to cut the poles), straightforward to install (we did it that afternoon) and look great when in! Well done IKEA! We love them so much we plan to get them for the rest of the windows that need blinds in our house as we do the rooms up!5
Excellent Anonymous reviewerDies exactly what I needed it to do.5
PerfectAnonymous reviewerSuper price and measurements. Able to fit myself5
Really stylish and incredible value for moneyAnonymous reviewerWe had our conservatory converted with a solid roof and wanted new blinds to complete the look. These were conspicuously good value compared with tailor-made options. They are super-versatile, incredibly easy to fix and customise (they provide straightforward guidelines and a cutter block. All you need is a junior hacksaw and a Stanley knife—it couldn't be simpler!).
Just two things I would change:
1. They are just a little too short for my conservatory windows—so I have them finishing a few cm short of the bottom (which actually looks fine)
2. It is disarmingly easy to inadvertently order blackout when you wanted light-dimming (or vice versa). Be sure to double check!
In summary, very happy with the blinds, delighted with the value for money and could not be happier with IKEA's customer service (yes, I ordered the wrong blinds, but they collected and exchanged them free of charge. Fantastic!)5
Perfect fit, easy to install.Anonymous reviewerNice blind fits perfectly, easy to install 5
Easy to install very thinAnonymous reviewerThese blinds are easy to install you just stick them on the window. They look nice and neat when up.
They are very thin so let a lot of light in it is only functional as a privacy blind not if you want to block some of the light out.4
Careful with fitAnonymous reviewerThe blind works great. I found the instructions a little harder to follow than usual ikea. The problem is the fit. Product description reads as a cut to fit blind but it’s not that simple. There are limitations in where the blind can be cut. As I want the blind to stick on the window pane this means the blind is 5mm short in width. Be aware. 3
Would have been great if it workedAnonymous reviewerGot two of these as the image shows them sticking to the window pane with the adhesive. Tried to saw the rods to size and the saw would barely go through them, which evidently bent them making the whole thing squint when assembled. The sticky pads are not very sticky and when we tried to stick the blind on they fell off. Called customer service who gave me a refund for one blind..
Would look amazing if they didn't bend when cut to size.2
Really great!Anonymous reviewerPerfect solution for my sash windows. They fit the bottom half for privacy and allow light through and the top half of the window still opens perfectly.
Could also fit a second above to cover the entire window if needed.5
