The backrest mounts on the right or the left side of the day-bed.

The daybed must be combined with two mattresses, 80x200. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.

The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

Other reviews mention difficulty operating the daybed once it has been assembled, however I have had no difficulty and it is located in a carpeted room. Design flawAnonymous reviewerThe idea is fab, looks great, however there is a design flaw. The middle of the bed frame bends and sags in the middle after someone has slept on it and it makes it difficult to slide it back together. You also have to remove both mattresses from the bed before you can slide it back together, so what is meant to be a space saving device ends up taking up lots of room.3
