Measurements offAnonymous reviewerThe recommended mattress does not fit in the alloted space - I have two Afjall mattress now hanging over the side of the bed, and this is when it is in single bed mode. It is assembled completely correctly but the mattress needs to be 83cm to account for the border width, whereas these mattresses are 90cm wide. And Ikea wants to charge me to get them returned.2
Great bed for guests. Anonymous reviewerLovely looking bed perfect for guests.
We didn’t struggle to put up.
Only criticism is the mattresses are very thin and firm. I’ve bought a mattress topper for it tho. 4
Incredible Guest Bed with great Storage!Anonymous reviewerUpon reading the reviews, we almost didn’t buy this bed because of the reviews and ratings being so awful. However, we are so glad that we did!
We bought this bed for our second bedroom, just before having a baby. It’s been a life saver, not only because of its amazing storage, which largely holds all our nappies, but also because the pull out function is so incredibly easy to use.
I believe that this bed has bad reviews because people have put it together poorly.
Note: it did take my partner 6 hours to put it together solo, which would definitely be quicker with two people.5
worse purchase of my lifeAnonymous reviewergot this in 2024 and it soon became the worse purchase of my life, £650 completely wasted.
it's uncomfortable, bad quality, impossible to close once open because the slats go on top of each other and block the second bed to go back into position. impossible to use on carpet , the wood is super cheap, the matching mattress is horrible, I'm using it until i can afford a replacement but i regret buying it every single day1
Just a day bedAnonymous reviewerIt takes so long to assemble. My partner and I spent 3.5 hours to assemble it. I got the firm mattress and I think it is too firm and I got back pain from sleeping on it.
Drawers are spacious and handy but don't move smoothly. All to all it is an okay day bed.3
Great DaybedAnonymous reviewerDaybed has been a great addition to my office for guests to use when visiting, including parents in their 70's. Other reviews mention difficulty operating the daybed once it has been assembled, however I have had no difficulty and it is located in a carpeted room. Assembly does take awhile and definitely requires two people, however the instructions were very easy to follow.5
Comfortable Guest BedAnonymous reviewerComfortable guest bed. Easy to pull out and a bit tricky to push back to be a single bed. The storage drawers are good for guests’ storage. 4
ExcellentAnonymous reviewerComfortable with great size drawers. 5
Good 👍Anonymous reviewerWorks well. 5
Bad qualityAnonymous reviewerBed slates are weak, they keep breaking, drawers for storage brake too...2
Terrible qualityAnonymous reviewerBed slates are so delicate, they keep breaking. Customer service refused to replace. Incredibly difficult to assemble. Don't waste your money.1
Design flawAnonymous reviewerThe idea is fab, looks great, however there is a design flaw. The middle of the bed frame bends and sags in the middle after someone has slept on it and it makes it difficult to slide it back together. You also have to remove both mattresses from the bed before you can slide it back together, so what is meant to be a space saving device ends up taking up lots of room.3
