They are almost unbearable to put together which is frustrating when the overall finish is really lovely. I brought 2 of 3 I needed and considering just sticking with 2 as not sure I can cope with building another

Don't listen to the few negative reviews, they obviously didn't follow the instructions. The piece with the number 1 on the back is there for a reason, being the 1st piece to use, and not the last

Look great but not quite as robust as expected Anonymous reviewerUnits look great. We've filled an unused breakfast bar with 6 of them to create more storage. Because of this we needed to screw them togther, side to side and top to bottom. Didn't use the special bar because they would be supported from the floor, not going on the wall. Managed ok but it might be worth knowing that these aren't made of anything solid like MDF. They are constructed with a lightweight core. Much better for the environment in lots of ways (and less load on a wall) but we were a bit nervous about drilling and screwing into them. So they were a little fragile until slotted in place. Planning to put doors on and hoping the material will support hinges.

Also no mention of the rails needs for wall assembly when selecting them off the shelf so had to pay for delivery of these.

Not easy to assemble Anonymous reviewerHaving assembled an entire IKEA kitchen and various other items from here, these are by far the hardest work to put together. The first step of the instructions say to find the piece with the number 1 on it. Out of the four cubes we bought only one had a piece with a number 1 sticker on it. Most of the parts do not slide together easily at all and more often than not do not end up quite flush with each other so the finish is not a great quality.

Looks really good but daughter did manage to hit her head on one the first night they were fitted. We didn't realise you needed to buy a separate wall bar to hang them (should have read the details closer) which meant another 40 mile round trip.
Bad fitting/assembly Anonymous reviewerI ruined one cube because the plastic lugs don't fit or slot in well to the roughly made 'slots' which then crumble if you try more than once!

Easy to build. Super flexibleAnonymous reviewerI bought a number of these to use across various spaces in my bedroom. I have been able to move them round to work with the remaining furniture. I forgot to buy connectors to stack them but have resolved that now. The shallow ones have worked for me but think carefully about what you want to display as these do not have any door or box options.

They not all the same Anonymous reviewerI bought 6 of these 3 white 3 grey 2 of the whites one easy to put together 1 grey one eventually with a lot of hammering the other 3 i could not get them together there are gaps in the last section i tried and tried . One got chipped and the other 2 do not hold im taking them 3 back and try and again i do think they are not all made the same .
You will need a mallet for this.Anonymous reviewerTurn it over and tap the bottom to fit it together. Put some padding on before tapping it. It only took 5 mins to put together and looks good.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
