EasyAnonymous reviewerEasy to build and feels sturd5
Perfect wall storageAnonymous reviewerI used 10 of these to create a horizontal wall unit for storage in my office. They are ideal for the purpose, easy to fit and aesthetically pleasing.5
Found an inside box to fit EKETAnonymous reviewerI have had EKET a few years now, and have found them versatile, rather than the fixed size of Kallax, but I always wanted an inside tub to fit. I have just found that B&Q MIXXIT range fits this inside of this perfectly FYI!5
Eket open storage boxAnonymous reviewerThis was a great alternative choice as I didn't have space for the matching Skruvby furniture to go with the tv bench.
Easy to assemble, but make sure to follow the order on instructions, 1 person in our house didn't which left one side very hard to push in to place.5
Bad DesignAnonymous reviewerThis is very poor when putting together, it doesn't sit right when slotting in the last side. It does look good for the price, however I am taking mine back 2
Good idea, faulty execution. Anonymous reviewerSlightly too small for A4 folder or file holder which is oversight. 2
Breaks easily Anonymous reviewerHad a nightmare putting this together. Broke very easy and is now in the bin. 1 bit of plastic broke and the other side pushed through the wood. Would not recommend.1
Resale of defective product.Anonymous reviewerWhen I opened the box I noticed the bag and box with parts were cut and opened. I didn´t realize and tried to assemble it. Three cubes were all right but one was full of scratches, plastic lugs were released and it doesn´t fit and hold together. Then I realized that it looks like someone was already trying to assemble it, wasn´t successful and returned it. They just repacked it and resaled it to me. I used screws to fix it. I´m not gonna claim it and ask for refund as for this money I´m not willing to waste my time but not a good experience.1
Superb productAnonymous reviewerVery easy to make up. Just follow instructions to the letter. They look great. Used them in my dressing room. I bought an extra pack and cut the four pieces down to make diving shelves.5
Nice when builtAnonymous reviewerThis piece is lovely and sturdy when built. It’s meant to be easy to put together as it doesn’t require tools but it’s not that easy. The pieces are hard to clip together and require a lot of strength. One piece on my unit isn’t completely flush as I hadn’t got the strength to get it fully in place. I have had other pieces the same and managed to get all pieces fully in place. It is a nice sturdy piece if you can get it all together4
MultipurposeAnonymous reviewerI had to rerun this because it wouldn’t fit where I wanted it to go. I was going to use it as a bedside table, unfortunately there wasn’t enough space for it. However these wall boxes have been an ikea staple for years and are very popular5
Hard floor makes assembly a breezeAnonymous reviewerA number of reviews say assembly was difficult, but for me putting a sheet of paper on my hardfloor and then sliding the sides together against the floor was not very difficult at all. Perhaps this could be suggested in the instructions so people don't struggle so much.
I assembled a single white cube to rest on the floor, and after positioning it have found that for the price, the quality is fine and it does what I wanted it to. I can't speak to its longevity, but it gives a clean, simple aesthetic that I find pleasing to look at.4
Well made and just what I wantedAnonymous reviewerThese are easy to put together if you are careful. The side marked 1 must be opposite the gap when you add the back as it has a longer back slot. I watched good youtube video before I bought, given some comments here. They are easy to make - just take care to follow the instructions.5
Fabulous size & quality Anonymous reviewerGreat reduced width wall cabinet. Good quality & easy to fit with the wall bracket. All fixings & instructions included..& in addition, a template to assist with installation. 5
Wrong size of backboardAnonymous reviewerIt is a poor quality product. I bought two of them and one was 5 minutes long to put together the second one is impossible to put together as the backboard is a few millimetres longer than it should be. Come on IKEA quality control or something… 1
Look Great but THE worst thing to put togetherAnonymous reviewerYou need the strength of an Ox and the patience of a saint. They are almost unbearable to put together which is frustrating when the overall finish is really lovely. I brought 2 of 3 I needed and considering just sticking with 2 as not sure I can cope with building another 3
Eket cubesAnonymous reviewerVery good cubes, and so easy to assemble, the fit is perfect and they look good, I've got 9 of them.
Don't listen to the few negative reviews, they obviously didn't follow the instructions. The piece with the number 1 on the back is there for a reason, being the 1st piece to use, and not the last5
Hassles Anonymous reviewerShockingly difficult to put together, back board few mms to large making it very stressful and time consuming, nice shelf but not worth the assembly 2
Look great but not quite as robust as expected Anonymous reviewerUnits look great. We've filled an unused breakfast bar with 6 of them to create more storage. Because of this we needed to screw them togther, side to side and top to bottom. Didn't use the special bar because they would be supported from the floor, not going on the wall. Managed ok but it might be worth knowing that these aren't made of anything solid like MDF. They are constructed with a lightweight core. Much better for the environment in lots of ways (and less load on a wall) but we were a bit nervous about drilling and screwing into them. So they were a little fragile until slotted in place. Planning to put doors on and hoping the material will support hinges. 4
Poor designAnonymous reviewerVery poorly manufactured. Holes don’t line up properly. Easily can be damaged. Waste of money 2
