Disappointing result Anonymous reviewerThis is not a single sideboard but a double and single cupboard that you screw together. We spent considerable time in the store trying to locate all the 18 boxes we needed as they weren’t all where they should have been and then spent the best part of a day trying to make sense of the many instruction booklets in order to put it together. The main cupboard bases were okay but the drawers don’t fit properly, they’re wonky and so are the 2 doors. It looks hideous. I wish I’d gone for 3 doors instead of 2 doors/2 drawers, as this might have looked marginally better. It is by far the worst thing I’ve bought from IKEA. Very very disappointing 2
Instructions are not clearAnonymous reviewerComes in multiple parts and the instructions don’t match. Pieces came with corner damage, I went and replaced and the replacement parts had the same issue. I am close to returning this whole unit, it’s proving to be a nightmare. I’ve never had so many issues with a piece of ikea furniture. 1
Very Misleading photos Anonymous reviewerPurchased this sideboard as a 180cm unit. The actual top is in 2, a 120cm & 60cm, they are totally different when pushed together. IKEA sell the top in a 180cm size, and the photos it looks like one top. I now have to purchase the 180cm top as a separate item £45. I feel I should be refunded at least for the 120cm top which is sold for £40. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with IKEA. 2
Doors bought separately Anonymous reviewerAfter six years of use, my unit remains in excellent structural condition. Rather than replacing the entire piece, I simply purchased new doors to update the style. The doors are top quality, fit seamlessly, and give the unit a like-new appearance. Proof that this product is built to last! 5

Poor quality and damagedAnonymous reviewerLots of pieces arrived damaged- packaging not adequate. Very complex instructions due to the fact various elements can make different permeatations of the product- very difficult to understand in a way IKEA instructions never used to be. The hinges and runners are amazing quality- it's the rest of it that is so bad. Very flimsy and it's very difficult to get the doors to line up. The veneer is very cheap indeed. Ikea definitely going downhill- will not be buying again. Only kept this as in an office and nobody needs to look at it very much!1
Think of something confusing to assemble. This is worse.Anonymous reviewerLook, just don’t do it. You’ll get irritated, it won’t look seamless, you’ll hurt your wrists, and it will look cheap. AmazingAnonymous reviewerI was little hesitant to order seeing all negative reviews saying, that it is impossible to put together. But it was actualy very, very easy. All you have to do is prepare before you start bulding.what we did - opened boxes, separated screws, parts etc,took time to read through the instructions, then started. If you just start and then try figure it out as you go,it might get stressful, besta is like lego,can be put together in many ways, it is versatile, thats what makes it great, yet super easy to put together. Regarding claims that drawewers,doors dont align together, yeah we had same, bcs the hinges are fully adjustable - instructions on the plastic packages that holds them.Drawers, door can be moved left/right, up and down... until youre happy. Not to brag but we have them perfect. We had fun putting in together and find the whole besta range is very clever,versatile,sturdy,you can do almost anything with it. We will definitely buy more x5
