Very Misleading photos Anonymous reviewerPurchased this sideboard as a 180cm unit.
The actual top is in 2, a 120cm & 60cm, they are totally different when pushed together. IKEA sell the top in a 180cm size, and the photos it looks like one top. I now have to purchase the 180cm top as a separate item £45. I feel I should be refunded at least for the 120cm top which is sold for £40. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with IKEA.

Rather than replacing the entire piece, I simply purchased new doors to update the style. The doors are top quality, fit seamlessly, and give the unit a like-new appearance. Poor quality and damagedAnonymous reviewerLots of pieces arrived damaged- packaging not adequate. Very complex instructions due to the fact various elements can make different permeatations of the product- very difficult to understand in a way IKEA instructions never used to be. The hinges and runners are amazing quality- it's the rest of it that is so bad. Very flimsy and it's very difficult to get the doors to line up. The veneer is very cheap indeed. Ikea definitely going downhill- will not be buying again. Only kept this as in an office and nobody needs to look at it very much!

AmazingAnonymous reviewerI was little hesitant to order seeing all negative reviews saying, that it is impossible to put together. But it was actualy very, very easy. All you have to do is prepare before you start bulding.what we did - opened boxes, separated screws, parts etc,took time to read through the instructions, then started. If you just start and then try figure it out as you go,it might get stressful, besta is like lego,can be put together in many ways, it is versatile, thats what makes it great, yet super easy to put together. Regarding claims that drawewers,doors dont align together, yeah we had same, bcs the hinges are fully adjustable - instructions on the plastic packages that holds them.Drawers, door can be moved left/right, up and down... until youre happy. Not to brag but we have them perfect. We had fun putting in together and find the whole besta range is very clever,versatile,sturdy,you can do almost anything with it. We will definitely buy more x
