The highlight of putting together this unit was the fact that it didn’t come with the correct instructions, which made it turn into a guessing game, adding to the fun. Does not assembleAnonymous reviewerThis unit does not assemble correctly. Whilst a did not have a problem assembling a very similar unit, this particular unit looks all wonky and does not close properly after assembly. Rubbish!1
Poor design with misaligned door/drawers Anonymous reviewerI regretted ignoring all the negative reviews and bought this one along with assembly service, thinking professionals will certainly handle the tricky bits. Boy, how wrong I am! The folk from Taskrabit showed up and spent 2 hours wrestling it with sweat.. Now I have to pay extra 42 quid for this sideboard with drawers either not opening or closing, crooked doors with gaps in the middle, and looking nothing close to the faked photos above. For people reviewing this product, do yourself a favour, 300+ can buy you something much more decent than this. 1

Terrible InstructionsAnonymous reviewerCabinet nice, as expected, but only nice once spending a lengthly amount of time trying to figure out how to fit the drawer above the cupboard door. It only comes with instructions for other Besta combinations, not for this particular one. In the end I had to turn the drawer front upside down and measure and drill for a handle myself. This is all doable, but it took me an hour of trials to find a solution. It needs description of what height the drawer runners need to be and different positioned holes to attach the drawer front! I like a flat pack project, but I was rather disappointed and frustrated with this considering the price and lack of instructions. Usually Ikea instructions are very literal but this failed massively.2

Shoddy manufacturingAnonymous reviewerThe pre-drilled holes for mounting the drawer rails were out of alignment resulting in one drawer being a half centimetre lower than the other. Th drawers also had a gap of about a centimetre between the top of the drawer and the top of the unit when the drawers were closed. Took a lot of messing about measuring and drilling new holes before they were correctly aligned. I do not recommend this product for that reason.1
