Good looking, but many issues...Anonymous reviewerThe product arrived with minor cosmetic damages to the boards, and internal damage where you can hear pieces of plasterboard moving inside when moving it. There was also missing parts which ended up with a half finished piece of furniture left waiting for replacement. Finally, the instructions were not clear, as it arrived with multiple manuals which complicated the assembling process, which I usually never have with IKEA products.. For example, it wasn't clear on how to add the drawers or cabinet doors and also the supporting leg didn't make sense on how to place it . It is a good looking looking sideboard, has plenty of space and the dark wood style gives it an elegant touch for the price. However, the damages, missing parts and complexity is something people should consider thoroughly.
Great productAnonymous reviewerThe cabinet is beautiful and pretty straightforward to assemble. Despite recieving the frame in one box and the rest of the part in another, we found it was pretty clear how everything had to fit together. Also we realised that IKEA improved many products adding parts that allow you to build the drawers, for example, in a much faster way. We totally recommend!

I purchased this along with several other IKEA items, expecting the usual straightforward setup — box 1, box 2, clearly labelled, one instruction pack, simple assembly. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case with this unit.
It’s a modular design made up of multiple separate IKEA components, so when it arrives, it comes in different boxes with different instructions. There isn’t one clear step-by-step guide for the full build, which means you’re left working out how the pieces go together yourself.
I did manage to assemble it in the end, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the £255 I paid for it as it looks and feels cheap. The process was far more complicated than it needed to be, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
IKEA should really rethink how this product is packaged and delivered. It ought to follow the same clear, easy-to-assemble format as their standard flat-pack furniture.
Fantastic piece of furniture Anonymous reviewerAssembling this flat pack was not only a thoroughly enjoyable experience, it only took a total of 3 and a half hours, no problem at all! The highlight of putting together this unit was the fact that it didn’t come with the correct instructions, which made it turn into a guessing game, adding to the fun. Would highly recommend to everyone x
Poor design with misaligned door/drawers Anonymous reviewerI regretted ignoring all the negative reviews and bought this one along with assembly service, thinking professionals will certainly handle the tricky bits. Boy, how wrong I am! The folk from Taskrabit showed up and spent 2 hours wrestling it with sweat.. Now I have to pay extra 42 quid for this sideboard with drawers either not opening or closing, crooked doors with gaps in the middle, and looking nothing close to the faked photos above. For people reviewing this product, do yourself a favour, 300+ can buy you something much more decent than this.

Shoddy manufacturingAnonymous reviewerThe pre-drilled holes for mounting the drawer rails were out of alignment resulting in one drawer being a half centimetre lower than the other. Th drawers also had a gap of about a centimetre between the top of the drawer and the top of the unit when the drawers were closed. Took a lot of messing about measuring and drilling new holes before they were correctly aligned. I do not recommend this product for that reason.
