Avoid at all cost Anonymous reviewerOmg where do I start? Thought I'd buy this unit thinking it being a bit dearer than Kallax etc it would be better. How wrong was I. I've built plenty of items from IKEA over the years & had no bother but this is the worst yet. The drawers went in ok but when it came to putting the doors on that's where it all went wrong. They pushed the drawers up when closed so tried to move the brackets to align but no change. Took doors off & now I have a unit with 2 drawers & 2 open shelves. Overall it was a total waste of spending extra money. One of the kallax units I have looks nicer with doors & drawers & adding all that together worked out still cheaper than this piece of ....

I purchased this along with several other IKEA items, expecting the usual straightforward setup — box 1, box 2, clearly labelled, one instruction pack, simple assembly. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case with this unit.
It’s a modular design made up of multiple separate IKEA components, so when it arrives, it comes in different boxes with different instructions. There isn’t one clear step-by-step guide for the full build, which means you’re left working out how the pieces go together yourself.
I did manage to assemble it in the end, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the £255 I paid for it as it looks and feels cheap. The process was far more complicated than it needed to be, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
IKEA should really rethink how this product is packaged and delivered. It ought to follow the same clear, easy-to-assemble format as their standard flat-pack furniture.

Don’t botherAnonymous reviewerWould give 0 stars if I could - took over 4 hours to attempt to assemble but as it only gives you instructions to build the frame of the cabinet - nothing for the drawers or cupboards. Holes aren’t in correct places for alignment no way to get the cupboards and drawers on without it either hanging over or having a stupid huge gap between. Ended up binning it waste of 130 quid
Fantastic piece of furniture Anonymous reviewerAssembling this flat pack was not only a thoroughly enjoyable experience, it only took a total of 3 and a half hours, no problem at all! The highlight of putting together this unit was the fact that it didn’t come with the correct instructions, which made it turn into a guessing game, adding to the fun. Would highly recommend to everyone x
Poor design with misaligned door/drawers Anonymous reviewerI regretted ignoring all the negative reviews and bought this one along with assembly service, thinking professionals will certainly handle the tricky bits. Boy, how wrong I am! The folk from Taskrabit showed up and spent 2 hours wrestling it with sweat.. Now I have to pay extra 42 quid for this sideboard with drawers either not opening or closing, crooked doors with gaps in the middle, and looking nothing close to the faked photos above. For people reviewing this product, do yourself a favour, 300+ can buy you something much more decent than this.

Shoddy manufacturingAnonymous reviewerThe pre-drilled holes for mounting the drawer rails were out of alignment resulting in one drawer being a half centimetre lower than the other. Th drawers also had a gap of about a centimetre between the top of the drawer and the top of the unit when the drawers were closed. Took a lot of messing about measuring and drilling new holes before they were correctly aligned. I do not recommend this product for that reason.
