Solid and good qualityAnonymous reviewerReally like this step stool. Easy to put together and very sturdy solid construction. The wood is a lovely pale colour.5
Stylish Anonymous reviewerBough two of these one for upstairs and one for the kitchen as I seem to be shrinking. Love them. Easy to build. Sturdy and stylish. They don't fold as tight as I'd like, however they do fold neatly.5
Very useful Anonymous reviewerHappy with item , like everything from IKEA 5
Super Stepladder Anonymous reviewerLightweight and easy to use this is just the right height for all my needs indoors.5
Stepping stoolAnonymous reviewerThe stool looks well and is a perfect height for reaching my tall cupboards. The only thing is, the second step is rocky when you step in it. My husband is going to take it apart and glue it as well as screw it. 4
Handy Item for the homeAnonymous reviewerDoubles up as a short term place to perch and I can reach the top shelf of my wardrobe without fear of falling off.5
Simply perfect Anonymous reviewerNice sturdy steeps, very easy to assemble Nd perfect to sit on for a well earned mug of tea5
Fold a way steeps brilliantly designed Anonymous reviewerThese steps are brilliantly designed. Easy to set up. Easy to open and close and feel very safe whilst on them. The hanging hock is extremely useful to keep the at hand but securely away. 5
Sturdy and practical Anonymous reviewerReally nice product, feels stable and solid.5
very handy and folds upAnonymous reviewerWe use this to go with the tall Billy Bookcases with top boxes fitted. really helps placing and retrieving books. Stronger than it looks.5
Lovely folding stoolAnonymous reviewerEasy to put together as my husband did it 😉 I use the stool in my greenhouse as it folds away nicely. Had to fashion a cushion for it. Sturdy steps too! Will be using it in the kitchen over the winter months. 5
Clumsy design comes with an assembling nightmareAnonymous reviewerAgree with many of the comments re the cumbersome assembling! Have assembled many items from ikea or other brands. In fact just spent less than 2hrs putting together the Micke desk with shelves and Flintan chair right before this. Never would have imagined a small step ladder can cost so much troubles and frustration when assembling. Also, the final product doesn’t look as sleek as it shows in the pictures online! It can’t be folded up flat so it’s still clumsy and bulky when folded, which causes troubles for storage or can even be a hazard around home! Don’t buy 👎🏽👎🏽 worst product of IKEA I’ve seen in years as a loyal IKEA products user! 1
Mixed feelingsAnonymous reviewerMixed feelings.
I've gotten lots of use out of it. It's sturdy for something so lightweight, takes a beating, supports a good amount of weight, folds away nicely, and comes with a hook thing for hanging it up.
You should treat it as a stool, rather than a step-ladder. If you need a step-ladder, you should buy a real step-ladder. With that said, I've used it for all sorts of things, and it performs well.
I found it particularly fiddly and frustrating to assemble. I have put together more complicated items before, and didn't expect to have so much trouble assembling it. Might just be me, but it might be worth paying extra for assembly.
One of the steps is a little wobbly, which might be because I had trouble assembling it.
I didn't have any problem with a sticker. I think that part is the same on either side and you can just flip it so it's on the underside. Otherwise try heating the glue up with a hairdryer for a couple minutes. It should peel off easily.3
PerfectAnonymous reviewerPerfect5
So good I bought it twice!Anonymous reviewerFirst was great in my kitchen. Bought second to reach shelves in my hobbies room.5
Impossible to assemble Anonymous reviewerThe grooves on the legs were not cut wide enough for the steps to go in to assemble safely. Really disappointed :(. Also the weight limit isn't advertised anywhere until you open the box and its on a random piece of paper. 1
Bekvam three step ladderAnonymous reviewerI bought the step ladders in beech finish for use indoors
They were easily assembled and look good as I store them with a beech hat & coat stand in the vestibule leading to our house entry hall5
DisappointedAnonymous reviewerVery sad and disappointed.
We can't screw it, the holes are smaller than the screws.1
Misaligned and wobble stepsAnonymous reviewerI've been wanting to get this step stool for ages but when I finally got it I was so disappointed.
The holes were misaligned on one side which made it difficult to screw.
Once assembled the two steps shift significantly when you step on them which makes them feel completely unsafe!
I'm really sad as this is not a cheap items and I was so looking forward to having this in my kitchen.1
Excellent qualityAnonymous reviewerSuperb set of steps. Applied three coats of Danish Oil which makes them look even better and obviously better protected.5
