BÅRSLÖV sofa-bed comes with soft shapes and generously sized, comfortable cushions that make it a perfect place to sink into.
This sofa converts quickly and easily into a spacious bed when you remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe.
Storage space under the chaise longue. The lid stays open so you can safely and easily take things in and out.
The chaise longue can be placed either to the left or right, so you can adapt the sofa to your space and your preferences.
The cover has been treated with easy-care, which means that spills won’t seep into the fabric, but stay on the surface and are easily absorbed with a dry cloth.
The fixed sofa cover is made of TIBBLEBY, a dope-dyed polyester fabric with a soft surface, light luster and a discreet herringbone pattern.

It is not worth the priceAnonymous reviewerI just used for 6 weeks. The seating space on this sofa bed is quite limited because the back cushions are too thick. I am a medium to large size woman, and I already find it not very comfortable to sit on for long periods.
In addition, the seat cushion on the chaise lounge seems to be made of a different material from the main sofa cushion. After about one month of use, the seat cushion of the sofa bed has started to sink slightly, making it noticeably thinner than the chaise lounge cushion.
Overall, the quality does not meet my expectations, and I don’t think it is worth the price.

But almost impossible to clean, a water spill leaves marks, spot cleaner leaves marks, just sitting on it appears to leave marks, it looks grubby even when clean. Really disappointing, must be a design flaw as I’ve had loads of ikea sofas in the past and had nothing like this before

The chaiselong is shorter than previous Anonymous reviewerIt’s perfect but my mistake not checking the chaiselong length. Our previous one was longer and this one isn’t long enough to lay on it full length of kegs it’s much shorter which is a little disappointing as your kegs stick out (5’3” short) and makes it uncomfortable.
A screw was missing and another screw didn’t fit the holeAnonymous reviewerOnline order only. Due to the screw problem, assembly could not be safely completed. The sofa bed had to be replaced after four hours of labour. This would involve building the sofa all over again, or paying a handy man to do it.
It was my only bed - that or the floor. So I slept on it. It is very comfortable, but the two missing screws are a problem.
Do not buy! Rubbish!Anonymous reviewerUnfortunately, after a few months, you can't use it as a bed anymore as the part which comes out to make the sofa into a bed detaches constantly and starts moving around when lying on it. What's even worse, this same part collapses, creating a kind of hole, so there is no chance to sleep on the sofa. Not worth the money and a visit to Ikea to check how comfy it looks as a few months show the real bad quality of Ikea's product.

I contacted customer service and I must say they were very kind and understanding. They gave me several options to solve the problem. Spacious sofa bedAnonymous reviewerSofa is quite firm to sit on but we preferred that over being too soft. Comfortable to sit on the L shape. We used it as a bed for two evenings and it was comfortable, much better than a previously owned metal sofa bed.
We did have a problem putting it back as a sofa as the mechanism has been put on incorrectly. Fortunately we will repair this ourselves rather than sending back and replacing.
Very handy having the storage section. We’ve have bought vacuum bags to shrink store all of the bedding when not in use.
