This frame is ideal to use with ALFTA adhesive hook. With the hook you can easily hang the frame without nails or screws and decorate your walls with pictures.

The frame can be used horizontally or vertically, whichever suits you or your picture best.

Front protection in plastic makes the frame safer to use.

PH-neutral mount; will not discolour the picture.

This frame fits with a picture that has dimensions 40x50 cm if you use it with the mount, and it fits with a picture that has dimensions 50x70 cm if you choose to use the frame without the mount.

The mount will not turn yellow since it is acid-free.

Fast forward 6 years and I'm purchasing again for my son's nursery and they are now double the price for 30x40 size. How is that possible?? Nice thin frame borderAnonymous reviewerI bought this particular frame especially for its thin border. Whilst more expensive than other Ikea frames, it looks more discreet. I've bought previously in silver, but this time in gold. The inner mount is nice and thick, but this time I needed a mount with the same dimensions all round (rather than thicker at the top and bottom). It would be great to be able to buy mounts separately, Ikea! Not as simple as it could be to take the back off, but overall I'm very pleased with it.4

Plastic not glass - Oh dearAnonymous reviewerI was disappointed to discover that the glass has been replaced with plastic. I’ve had a lot of IKEA frames over the years, but won’t be buying any more. We lived with it on the wall for a week, but it just doesn’t have the classy look of glass; so I went to our local frame shop and had a frame made instead (only cost £13.99). Otherwise, the frame is very nice; I might have some glass cut to replace the plastic.2

Looks pretty but a tad disappointingAnonymous reviewerFrames are gorgeous, but the fact it uses plastic instead of glass is a little disappointing. At first i thought it would be fine, but sadly, when I put by 3 massive frames on the wall, you couldn't see the images properly due to the way plastic reflects light! So now the image looks distorted and dare I say a tad cheap :( Also one of the plastic sheets is scratched, so I will have to either get that replaced or the whole lot refunded...2
