gold Fram is classyAnonymous reviewerMy print looks great in this not overly ornate gold frame - love it and will be buying more in the future5
Terrible edgingAnonymous reviewerLooks great from a distance but corners leave a lot to be desired. I used mine to hang a print quite high on a wall, after which I noticed when you look up you can see the edges as badly connected, with white bits showing. Now have to get some gold paint to fix as the palaver to get to IKEA is not worth the journey. VERY disappointed considering this was £27 and I deliberated for a long time, choosing between the gold for £27 and the similar black for £17. Not sure why it's so expensive as handling it feels like it cost about £3.50 to make.1
Horrible to handleAnonymous reviewerHalf of the metal clips on the frame were stuck and would not twist out like the others, so after a several painful attempts, we've decided this is unuseable. Otherwise, agree with others that it is ok design and frame, but the plastic means it is not worth the money- should either return to glass or make it cheaper to reflect the plastic cover.1
Lovely frame, but price has doubled since 2020Anonymous reviewerI brought these frames for my daughter's nursery in 2020 for £8 and loved them. Fast forward 6 years and I'm purchasing again for my son's nursery and they are now double the price for 30x40 size. How is that possible?? They are lovely frames, but now for this expensive price - they are plastic, with metal frame3
Nice thin frame borderAnonymous reviewerI bought this particular frame especially for its thin border. Whilst more expensive than other Ikea frames, it looks more discreet. I've bought previously in silver, but this time in gold. The inner mount is nice and thick, but this time I needed a mount with the same dimensions all round (rather than thicker at the top and bottom). It would be great to be able to buy mounts separately, Ikea! Not as simple as it could be to take the back off, but overall I'm very pleased with it.4
Good valueAnonymous reviewerNot our first purchase of this frame always great value would recommend5
Way better than I expected Anonymous reviewerI don't know what people expect for £27 these days but these frames are really, really good and unbelievable value for money. I wouldn't have been disappointed if they'd been £40-50 each5

Value for moneyAnonymous reviewerVery good value for money, could be nicer quality but for the price you can’t really ask for more. It’s a smart little frame and will do the job.4

Perfect for the pictureAnonymous reviewerVery pleased with the frame for my picture of Flaming June by Harold Leighton. Love the colour and goes well with the room decoration.5
Anonymous reviewerJust what we expected, but also little expensive.5
Plastic not glass - Oh dearAnonymous reviewerI was disappointed to discover that the glass has been replaced with plastic. I’ve had a lot of IKEA frames over the years, but won’t be buying any more. We lived with it on the wall for a week, but it just doesn’t have the classy look of glass; so I went to our local frame shop and had a frame made instead (only cost £13.99). Otherwise, the frame is very nice; I might have some glass cut to replace the plastic.2
