The items came in 4 boxes, very well packed. Instructions were easy to follow, it did need 2 people to put together and took roughly 2.5-3hrs. Very happy with our standard king size bed and standard king mattress. However the mattress doesn’t appear to fit the size of bed there appears to be a 6inch gap? This is very confusing.
Love the bed but not the colourAnonymous reviewerIn a small house I wanted an Ottoman bed for the storage, but small house = narrow stairs, and this is the only Ottoman I can find which would fit up the stairs - made possible by head piece coming in two sections. We are very happy with the bed, storage is great and the mechanism is good quality. But the colour really doesnt go with my other things. Please IKEA think about making in a different colour - charcoal grey??

Perfect bedAnonymous reviewerWe wanted an ottoman bed for storage. It came in 4 boxes, all very well packed and protected from damage. It was so easy to put together. You needed 2 people at one point, but the instructions were simple to understand, which made it so easy. I was wondering how well it would remain raised as we've had one in the past and it kept collapsing. No complaints with this. It's solid and very well made and looks good.

The headboard is comfortable as well. Compared to other similar beds, it is also priced very competitively.
