We’ve created comprehensive IKEA guarantees for many of our products and have gathered them all here. Because, while we believe in the quality and durability of our products, at IKEA we like to have your back.
Below you will find a list of all our guarantees and warranties.

Our guarantees can change over time and are always determined by the date of order or purchase. The period the terms and conditions of yours applies to starts from the day you receive your product – whether you take it home yourself, or it’s delivered to you – so always keep a record of your purchase and order.

Kitchen
We offer you a free 25 year guarantee that covers defects in the material and workmanship on the METOD kitchen system.
The ENHET kitchen system and all kitchen mixer taps have a free 10 year guarantee.
The KNOXHULT unit kitchen and all IKEA appliances have a free 5 year guarantee (except for LAGAN and TILLREDA for which we offer a free 2 year guarantee).
Our guarantees are valid for domestic kitchen use and is subject to the terms and conditions stated in the pdf below.
Bathroom
We offer you a 10 year guarantee that covers defects in the material and work-manship on all wash-basins, mixer taps and shower mixers, on ENHET, HAVBÄCK, ÄNGSJÖN, TÄNNFORSEN, HAGAÅN bathroom furniture series, TOLKEN and ÅLSKEN coutertops, ALMAÅN legs, LETTAM and FAXÄLVEN mirrors and mirror cabinets.
All shower accessories such as riser rails, head and hand showers, shower hoses and hand shower parking bracket have a 3 year guarantee.

Sofas and armchairs
We offer you a 10 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship that covers frames and cushions of our sofas – and for some products, this involves a 25 year guarantee. This guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions stated in the pdfs below.
Bedroom
We offer you a 10 year guarantee that covers mattresses with the logo below against defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer you a 10 year guarantee that covers PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers marked with the logo, against defects in materials and workmanship.

Workspace and office furniture
We are able to offer a 10 year guarantee against defects in materials, workmanship and function on all main parts in the BEKANT series, IDÅSEN series, GALANT storage system, TROTTEN series and HÄLLAN storage, MITTZON system and RODULF desk.
We offer you a 10 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship in the moving parts and frame of workchairs MARKUS, LÅNGFJÄLL, GRÖNFJÄLL, SMÖRKULL, HATTEFJÄLL, ALEFJÄLL, JÄRVFJÄLLET, TROLLBERGET, FLINTAN, LIDKULLEN, FJÄLLBERGET, LÄKTARE and MULLFJÄLLET.

Kitchenware and tableware
We are able to offer a 15 year guarantee for IKEA pots, pans and woks without a non-stick coating.
We offer you a 15 year guarantee covering function, materials and workmanship in the majority of IKEA kitchen knives. Knives with the product name FÖRDUBBLA, HACKIG, UPPFYLLD, SKALAD and SMÅBIT, as well as knives from cutlery, steak knives and knife sharpeners, are not covered under this guarantee.
