What can I do if something is missing from my delivery?
If something is missing after delivery or pick up from IKEA Click & Collect or a pick-up point, make sure to first check if your order has been split into multiple deliveries, as the missing item might still be on its way. If you find that items are still missing from your order, please contact IKEA Customer Service either online or in-store.
We are sorry for this inconvenience, and we will do our best to help you. If you are missing one or more items or boxes from your order after home delivery, parcel delivery, IKEA Click & Collect, or pick-up point, please confirm whether the missing item was included in your order by reviewing your confirmation email or receipt. Note that multiple items may also be packed together, so be sure to look through all boxes in case your missing item is there after all.
Before reaching out to IKEA Customer Service, confirm that your order has not been split into multiple deliveries. You can check this on My Purchases by using your order number or logging into your IKEA account. If your order has been split into multiple deliveries, you can check the delivery date of the next delivery on the page as well.
If you have checked everything and still need help, please get in touch with IKEA Customer Service as soon as possible. You can proceed either in-store or online, depending on what is most convenient for you.
Visit an IKEA store
Getting help with your missing item at a store can be a convenient option if you live nearby and need it urgently. You can check the product availability using the item number on IKEA.com for any store before you go. If you prefer, our chatbot can also help with stock check.
At the store, go to one of the Customer Service desks, usually located close to the entrance/exit of the store. Make sure that you have your order number/order confirmation ready, or delivery note.
Find all IKEA store locations and opening hours. Please remember that Plan & Order Points are not full IKEA stores and can therefore not support handling missing items.
You have several options for getting help with your missing item in store:
Replace at the store. A co-worker will be able to replace the missing item and give it to you to take home provided there is available stock.
Arrange home delivery. If the item is not in stock, or you cannot take it home yourself, a co-worker can arrange a home delivery of the missing item when the product is available for delivery.
Receive a refund. Alternatively, if you decide to receive a refund for the missing item, a co-worker can process this for you, too. You will receive the refund to the original payment method used to purchase the product. Keep in mind that if you purchased the items by paying cash in-store, then you’ll receive the refund as an IKEA voucher.
Contact IKEA Customer Service online
