What spare parts can I get from IKEA and how much do they cost?

There are three types of spare parts in IKEA: small spare parts, bigger spare parts and spare parts for home appliances. Prices depend on which spare part you need.

If you’d like to renew, improve and/or prolong the life of your IKEA products, you can get the spare parts you need online and in IKEA stores. This is how you can identify the different types of spare parts and how much they cost:
  1. Small spare parts
Small spare parts are essential pieces you need to assemble your IKEA furniture and/or products. These include screws, knobs, plugs and other such fittings. Small spare parts have a 6-8 digit identification code (also known as a spare part number) and are listed in the first few pages of the product’s assembly instructions.
You can find the spare part number by checking:
  • the assembly instruction booklet, included in the box with the product. If you don’t have the physical copy of the assembly instructions, you can find them online by searching for the product on the IKEA website. Go to the product page and click Product details, then Assembly and documents to access the assembly instructions.
  • your Purchase history. If your purchase is linked with your IKEA Family account, log in to your account and go to the My Purchases page, where you will find the "Order spare parts" button. Once you click the button, you will be able to access a list of products with available spare parts and the spare part number you need.
The “Order spare parts” button will not appear if:
  • the product does not contain any spare parts in the packaging
  • the product is out-of-stock or has been discontinued
  • you have cancelled or returned the order
You can get small spare parts completely free of charge.
  1. Bigger spare parts
Bigger spare parts are large furniture components, such as side panels or drawer fronts. They are included in the box when you buy an IKEA product. Bigger spare parts do not have a 6-8 digit identification or spare part number on the assembly instructions. These parts are available for free when a part fails within the coverage of the product guarantee.
  1. Spare parts for home appliances
All our kitchen appliances are sold with a warranty. During the warranty period, repairs and spare parts covered by the warranty are provided through our authorised service centres. If you need to replace a part not covered by the warranty, or your warranty period is over, IKEA has partnered with a third-party provider, ASCI, for you to buy spare parts from.
Inside warranty
  • To get spare parts for your appliance, contact the authorised service centre as listed in the user manual provided with the product. If you do not know which service centre to reach out to, you can find this information on our Appliance Claims page.
Outside warranty (ASCI)
  • To order a spare part outside of warranty, please visit our spare parts page and order appliance spare parts via our third-party provider called ASCI. Please note that ASCI sells appliance spare parts for appliances purchased a maximum of 10 years ago. For more information, please see the ASCI terms and conditions.
