How does parcel delivery to your door work?
When ordering parcel delivery to your door, add your chosen smaller products to the shopping cart and select "parcel delivery to your door" as the delivery method at checkout. Then enter the delivery address and any additional information. After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation and an estimated delivery date by email. You will receive package tracking information once your order has been processed. Your package will be delivered to your doorstep at a time to be announced later. After receiving the package, please check that all the products you ordered were delivered intact and contact IKEA customer service in case of any problems.
- a. Add the smaller products you want (such as interior decoration products, textiles and household items) to your shopping cart and select "parcel delivery to your door" as the delivery method at checkout.
b. Parcel delivery to your door will be delivered to your door at the time indicated.
c. Enter your shipping address. Make sure that you also enter any more detailed delivery instructions. The price of the service is €14.90, but when logging in to your IKEA Family account before purchasing, your service fee will be reduced to €9.90.
d. Complete your order and select a preliminary delivery date and time (typically 3-10 business days). You will receive an order confirmation by email with preliminary delivery dates. Please note that the preliminary date may still change.
e. Changes cannot be made to an order that has already been placed afterwards. However, the order can be cancelled before the package has been handed over to the carrier.
- Order processing and dispatch
a. Once your order has been processed, the tracking information will be provided to you via email. The tracking link will allow you to track the progress of your package.
b. Your order will be shipped from the local distribution center or your nearest IKEA store and can be split into multiple packages if needed. If the order is divided into several packages, there may also be several deliveries.
- Delivery
a. The package(s) will be delivered within a pre-announced, estimated time window.
b. Please be present at the announced time. If you were unable to be there or the delivery of the package is prevented for some other reason, please contact the carrier to arrange a new delivery time (please note that a new delivery may cost separately).
- During and after delivery
a. After receiving your order, check that all the products you ordered were delivered and are in order.
b. If any product is missing or damaged, please report this to IKEA customer service as soon as possible. You can contact customer service through this.
