What delivery options does IKEA offer?
IKEA offers Delivery to your address, Parcel Delivery, and Collect from IKEA location or from external pickup point.. Home Delivery includes 'carried inside' and 'handover from delivery truck' options. Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller items through post and Collect from IKEA Location allows you to pick up your order from an IKEA store or Collection Point.
- Delivery to your address: This option brings your order right to your address.
a. Handover from delivery truck: Your items are delivered to the front door of your selected delivery address. If your selected address is a residential apartment or unit complex, the order will be delivered to the front door of the foyer or building.
b. Carried inside: This service is ideal for larger orders where you may need help with carrying the products inside your home. The delivery driver will bring the goods into your selected delivery address and place them in one room of your choice. A 4-hour time window is provided for this service, you will be notified 30-60 minutes prior to your delivery being completed.
- Parcel Delivery:
a. Collect from parcel pickup point: Ideal for smaller orders like accessories or home decor where the total weight of the order does not exceed 25kg. The delivery date provided is an estimate and the service provider will send you a sms when you can collect your order.
b. Parcel delivery to your door: Parcel orders are delivered to your selected delivery address. You'll choose a preliminary date when placing the order, and the Service Provider will contact you to schedule the date and fixed time window.
- Collect from IKEA location: The Collect from IKEA location service allows you to collect your order from our IKEA locations. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an SMS or email notification with instructions on how and where to collect your order. You will need to have a copy of your proof of purchase ready to show the co-workers at the store. If you have arranged for someone else to collect the order on your behalf, they will need to bring the order confirmation and photo ID. In the event where you are unable to collect your order, it will be held for 3 days from the collection date.
- Collect from external pickup point: Ideal for customers who may live further away from our IKEA stores, this service allows you to save on travel time and instead collect your order at one of our Pickup Points. When you place your IKEA order, you will be asked to select a time and date that suits you best from the provided list.
a. 1-hour pickup time: Depending of the pickup point, you may book a service where you can collect your order during one hour.
b. 3-day pickup time: There's also some external pickup points and pickup lockers where you can collect your order for three days.
