Really cool light!JustineThis is a cool light that grabbed my attention because of its colour and design. The light can be dimmed with the pull cord (one pull = brightest, two pulls = slightly dimmer and a third pull turn it off). This is definitely a mood light (not a task light) which is obvious from the photos. Definitely a trickier assembly (if you don't have patience for small parts and pinchy bits, then maybe you should ask someone else to put it together for you). For the white shade - It says in the instructions that once you unfurl it, it needs to be turned over on itself (essentially reversed) before placing it down into the metal cage, but for some reason, It wouldn't sit right this way. Ultimately, I ended up letting the shade sit in its natural position (the way it was packaged) and I placed it into the cage that way. Ultimately a much a better fit. I would give it 5 stars, but the assembly was definitely tricky and even in the end I couldn't get some of the pieces to snap together. Still great!
