It's possible to plant directly in the pot because it has drain holes in the bottom and a saucer to collect excess water.

Not very goodShayneThese pits are, firstly, overpriced. You can find much better pots at other stores for cheaper. They also drain very badly! It takes 5 whole minutes for the water to drain. With the same soil, other pots take about 10 seconds.
