IKEA kitchen installation service includes complete assembly and installation of everything from cabinets to lighting. You can even pay to have appliances installed. You choose what you need. Pricing is based on your kitchen’s value. Of course, you can always DIY for free, with help from our guides.
Our kitchen installation service pricing is based on the total value of your new IKEA kitchen without any household appliances. Use the information below to help estimate your total installation cost and understand what’s included. You’ll get a more precise quote when booking.
Kitchen installation service includes:
- Installation, positioning and hanging of cabinets.
- Installation of countertops.
- Installation of lighting.
- Installation of handles and internal equipment (shelves, baskets, etc.).
- Installation and connection of IKEA sink, faucet and siphon.
- Installation of LYSEKIL wall panels.
- Removal of all packages upon completion of works.
Pricing per total value of kitchen, excluding appliances:
- We only provide the service after a pre-visit has taken place (€129).
- 135€ per kitchen cabinet.
- 49€ per household appliance.
- We offer this service exclusively in combination with delivery by truck to the room of your choosing.
- Ask our installers for a quote for any additional work not covered by the installation price. This will be based on the installer’s fixed hourly rate.
Installation of custom-made quartz, ceramic and/or glass worktops and wall panels
- We sell our quartz, ceramic and glass worktops only in combination with a new IKEA METOD kitchen.
- These worktops are always sold with measurement, delivery and installation by our external partner. The total service price is €679.
Before the installation of an IKEA kitchen
- Measure the space where your kitchen will be.
- Make an appointment with one of our specialists.
- During the appointment you make a request for a pre-visit. During the pre-visit, the kitchen specialist compares your plan with the measurements of your space, checks the installations and draws up a report which he sends to the seller.
- The specialist will contact you and, depending on the situation, the plans will be adapted, the order will be placed, and you will make an appointment for the installation of the kitchen.
- Prepare the room where the kitchen will be installed, based on the report of the pre-visit.
- Have your kitchen delivered to the room where it is to be installed (or to the next room if it is a small room).
During and after the installation of your IKEA kitchen
- Get on with your life while the professionals do their work. Every IKEA kitchen installation comes with a warranty on the workmanship, so you can rest assured that it meets the highest market standards.
- When the job is done, the service provider removes all packaging and wipes the floor clean. Keep assembly documents, manuals and spare parts.
- Enjoy many years of peace of mind with your new kitchen, thanks to our product warranties (outlined in our terms and conditions).
- If you have purchased a kitchen fitted by IKEA and anchored to the wall in a home that is at least ten years old, you are entitled to a reduced VAT rate of 6% instead of 21%. You can find out more here.
