Can I order a custom worktop or wall panel for a room other than the kitchen?

IKEA made-to-measure worktops and wall panels are reserved for IKEA kitchens. Find out about the conditions and the services available to help you.

Worktops and wall panels made to measure by IKEA are designed and tested to work perfectly with our IKEA kitchens.
You can order them:
  • for a new IKEA kitchen ;
  • for an already installed IKEA kitchen.
You cannot order them:
  • For IKEA furniture that is not part of the kitchen range (such as BESTÅ). This furniture is not designed to support a worktop. That is why we cannot offer a made-to-measure or standard solution in this case.
  • For furniture or installations from another brand. We cannot then guarantee the compatibility or use of the product after installation.
What about furniture that is not from IKEA?
A standard worktop can sometimes be suitable. In that case, it is important to check:
  • The sturdiness of the furniture.
  • The exact dimensions.
  • The weight capacity.
  • The necessary cut-outs.
