Too shortMichelleThe cord is too short to be used anywhere in my home. I had purchased it to use with the FÖRSÄSONG Cable management tray attached to my desk. With the outlet on the wall directly behind my desk, the cord is too short to reach the desk. I thought I might be able to swap it with a different, longer power strip that is behind my tv, but after I went to the trouble of moving my tv and shelf to reach the outlet, I realized this Koppla power strip is even too short to reach the tv. It is so short that I cannot imagine any use for this power strip except to sit on a bathroom counter a few inches beneath the actual outlet, which is a terrible idea because it would get wet if there were any splashing. Sadly, it was a two pack, so now I have two worthless power strips. Normally I love Ikea products, but this power strip was poorly designed for use in a real home.

Mounting Holes Appear To Be InadequateDaveThe mounting holes don't recess far enough into the body of the power strip to allow a screw head to fit. Am I supposed to completely break off the recessed part, so that a screw head can fit in there? This would not be easy to do, but if it isn't done, the mounting holes are fairly useless, unless you find a screw with a low-profile head.
To me, this comes across as poorly thought-out design - unless I'm missing something.
