Sturdy and affordableColleenThis item was a great price and easy to install. My one complaint is that even those it comes wrapped in a labeled plastic bag, you also put a label sticker right on the leg which would NOT come off and made fo a tacky finished product. It made no sense.
Worst everCarrieDoes not lock in place at all so I had to place an Alex drawer underneath with a 1 inch book just to level it out. Absolutely waste of time and money.
GarbageGeremyDo not waste your money on these legs. Purchased in November of 2024. One leg will not tighten and other will not unlock to raise. IKEA offered nothing to fix the issue.
PerfectJalen0 Issues with this product. Extremely satisfied. The cheaper, unadjustable legs are coffee table height. People saying these legs won't hold in place should trying tightening the legs by turning clockwise. Lefty loosey, righty tighty ;). My table supports my full body weight 203lbs.
Don’t stay tightDanielleI should have returned them immediately (didn’t because I live 2 hours from ikea). One of the four legs wouldn’t stay tight, meaning it would telescope down to a shorter size with any weight put on it, I wrapped tape around it and hoped it would hold. Fast forward a year. And very little use and now three of the legs don’t stay tight so I have a table with legs that are four different heights.

They don't lockSilviaSave yourself the headache and do not buy these legs. They make the locking sound, and seem to lock, but as soon as weight is applied they unlock.

Legs do not lock in placeCarolynI must have received a faulty item because these legs do not lock in place and I'm not stranger to putting IKEA things together. Now I'll have to return and find a suitable replacement for my table.

Wobbly Legs DanielleUnfortunately, these OLOV legs are terrible. Even with the use of a level, etc. the constant shaking is unbearable. I now am going to try the ALEX ones next. These are not worth the money. Hope they're returnable.
Bought 14 and 5 were defective older units.PatrickThe locking mechanism for 5 of these Olov legs refuse to catch and lock. Upon inspecting the legs that lock just fine it’s clear there was a fix later on and that they kept the old stock in rotation. If you disassemble the leg you will notice on the threaded bolt one version has wings to catch the lower cone, the faulty ones do not have this. I have to return these now and I guess play the lottery on which version I’ll receive with my next purchase. 0/10 do better IKEA. A complete waste of time and resources

2nd leg not staying tightCarlinI got the 72" top with 5 legs. I set each of the legs by the marks, and even used a level and made little adjustments. After about a month one of the legs started to become loose. I noticed because my desk started to rock. Now a 2nd one won't even tighten.
I don't have a lot of weight on my desk, and I had my husband tighten them. There is no way after 3 months they should be failing.
Get the normal legs and not ones you have to tighten by hand.
Ruined my table topKarlascrews too long that they went through the tabletop and ruined it. Hard to adjust legs.
