Tricky to fit, and potentially dangerous Anonymous reviewerThese are dangerous, and I’m not being melodramatic or exaggerating. Do not use in a child’s room, or anywhere where someone is likely to come to physical contact with the mirror. They are suspended a few millimetres from the wall by the corners. This means that if they are bumped into, even just lent on, they will bend and could shatter.
As for fitting, I can see why other people leaving reviews are having issues. I was lucky, as I was fitting on a stud wall and they happen to be the same width at the gap between the studs. So I could just hold them in place and screws the fixings in place. But if it was brick/block wall, or don’t have studs to fix to, you will have to install with raw plugs or such like. You you would have to be incredibly accurate because only a very small corner each panel is held onto. Just a couple of millimetres is in its game over.
Also the first pack delivered with one broken, but ikea sent a new one without issue.

It’s like one huge jigsaw puzzle you can never find the end of. Patience is key and I don’t have it. Refilled the walls and repainted from the holes and attempted twice. It’s now up but not exactly flattering either….

Excellent productAnonymous reviewerVERY satisfied with this product, would have preferred a single mirror for a wardrobe door but four laid vertically works very well. Very easy to mount - laid out four on a strip of lining paper and marked where screw holes needed to be, then taped paper to the door and marked where screws sould go - so much easier than trying to measure on the vertical. Worked a treat!

What is mirror glass?
Mirror glass comprises mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.

"When I was a child we had little square mirrors in our bathroom. I had these in mind when I designed KRABB mirrors. I wanted to create something that was just as simple, yet more decorative. With organic shapes, because I've always liked them. These mirrors are like a puzzle that you can change whenever you like. They make the room look bigger and better. I would also like to create a magic mirror that makes people feel good about themselves, but that will have to be my next challenge."
