Warm white and durable, with timerBernadetteI make handmade gift items using my art and upcycled items, and sometimes new items too. I wanted to change from LED votives and pillar candles to string lights and discovered in 2019 that IKEA has several styles that worked for my ideas AND had a timer, which I'd not seen before in string lights. I tried them out around the house before using them in my handmade goods and couldn't believe my luck--one of those first strings from 2019 is still in use in a wreath in my home. Since then I've bought and used dozens for my products, and Vissvass is the most flexible. The lights are warm white, not yellow, but a natural glow, and not blindingly bright but pleasantly bright enough to illuminate the jar lamps I make. Set it and forget it with the built-in 6-hour timer (there is no other option with this brand) and good batteries last two months before they start to dim. I've even used them in my sealed lanterns and jars outdoors to come on in winter when my solar lights go off early.5
