Use a mild detergent and set your washer on a delicate cycle at 140°F – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester pillows can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your pillow regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
