Smells intensely of cleanerDanielThis may only apply to the Portland IKEA, as I don't see any other mention of this.... but I purchased this mat and found it to absolutely reek of cleaner (like industrial strength state park bathroom cleaner...). The smell was so weird and off-putting that it stunk up the entire vestibule room where I had the mat. Even my neighbor mentioned the smell.
I thought maybe that some cleaner had somehow spilled on this doormat, so I returned it to the store to exchange it for another... but all of the three-cat mats at IKEA Portland smelled like cleaner! Super strange, as no other design of doormat had any scent.
Happy that I was able to return the mat, but sad that they all smelled so intensely, as the design is so cute!

Adorable Large DoormatGabbyI’m a sucker for cats especially black cats. The mat is quite large, it will definitely cover the entire door entrance. This mat is tall and will not work for inside if you plan to put it near a swinging door, keep in mind! I have mine outside. Very grippy, doesn’t slide on the concrete underneath. I like how firm the bristles are, doesn’t feel like I’m squashing the mat when I walk over it. Great for the spooky season but honestly might just keep year-round.
