The height of the legs can be adjusted manually to six different heights from 27 to 30", so that you can always sit at a comfortable height.
You can position the table top in two different ways. If you have the contour shape facing forwards, you enjoy relief for forearms and wrists – and having it at the back creates a gap where you can lead all the cables down.
The metal mesh at the back of the desk allows air through that cools your PC and is so sturdy that you can even clamp a pair of monitor arms to it.
It should be comfortable to play, especially when a match drags on. That’s why the table top is deep – so you can position screens at a comfortable distance from your eyes.

Fantastic adjustable deskChrisI'm much more comfortable working at a desk that is a few inches lower than standard height, so I was on the lookout for a model where I could adjust the height once, at setup, and never touch it again. However, I didn't want one of those awful wobbly sit-stand atrocities. This desk fit that need perfectly. The cable management track was a little gimmicky, but it actually turned out to be useful to clear up some cable clutter. I even bought a second one so that I could set up an L-style layout. I would like to see IKEA make a variant with a one-piece solid top, as that would work better for a left or right side return, but this will do for now. Thank you for finally selling a simple, solid, ADJUSTABLE desk!

Splitting edges in under a yearAaronThe area I rest my wrist while typing started to split and raise up where the top meets the edge. It's started to cut into my wrist. Hopefully there's a warranty if not I'd avoid buying
Almost perfect with one flawAlanThis desk is just about perfect for me. The only thing about it is it's a total fingerprint magnet. If you touch this desk it leaves spots everywhere. And you can't just rub it off, you need to use a damp towel. I guess the finish on this desk loves to pick up natural oil from the skin. It's annoying but I won't deduct from my rating. I got a large desk pad to remedy most of the problem.

That was a weird quirk. The sleeve for cable management is not as useful as I wished it was. It’s not awful but could be maybe designed a bit different. The finish is awesome. I love the color of the frame and the desk surface itself. It has a lot of space, which I absolutely love. If I had to do it over again, I might have picked a different desk but probably not. Plenty of space w/Gaming PCBenVery solid, very sturdy, not too thin. No wobbles, and it doesn't feel hollow at all. This desk has the perfect amount of space. The cable pouch is super useful and a nice way to stay organized and make sure no cables get in the way. It also has a great height adjustment system.
Got a 27 inch monitor, keyboard, ATX PC case, and I still have plenty of room to move my mouse around, even have dinner nearby. Best desk at IKEA that I tested when I walked through.
I just wish it was a little thicker, like 1.5-2x thicker. If I had to pick between thicker, and maintaining the density of the particle board, I'd pick keeping the density the same. The density of the desk platform itself is amazing. IDÅSEN felt hollow in comparison for example. Though, like I said if it was 1.5-2x thicker this desk would be beyond perfect.

Maybe about a year or so, it was time for me to get a new desk and I went with this one. No regrets, the cable management is spectacular. Matched with the monitor arm Ikea sells makes this an awesome set up. Only wish it was automated to make it go up and down, but only minor complaint.

Beware Ikea warranty is Bogus - Non replaceable DesktopShawnI purchased this desk in 2022. I bought the all gray version which they no longer carry. Now it has a birch looking top. I went to reorganize my desk and noticed the laminate was separating from the top and the particle board was expanding, purely a defect in manufacturing/quality. Upon searching online their page says desks have a 10 year warranty. I contacted Ikea customer support they generated a ticket had me take photos once I sent the photos I was told that this particular desk only has a 3 year warranty and I missed it by two months. Unlike other Ikea items they don't sell the replacement top for this desk. This happened at an edge that sees no wear and has no screw points on the back side. I did really enjoy this desk but alas will never shop Ikea again just reading their super sparse and vague warranty guides is enough to put me off. Just more disposable items.

I like that you can adjust the height of the desk (it must be screwed into position), how you can flip the desk top to accommodate monitor mounting brackets, and the fact that there are no bars or poles that your feet hit. The only downside is there is no drawer, so everything must be stored on the desktop. We've made it work.

Perfect Desk For My Home SetupAhmedI needed a long desk with good depth to facilitate my WFH setup as well as my home computer. This desk was referred to me by a friend and is perfect for my needs. I am easily able to fit 3 monitors on the desk, although with a monitor desk mount, you could easily fit 4. The depth is perfect, giving me tons of space and keeping the monitors a good distance away so they are not right in my face. I did purchase the black desk. It is very sturdy and the quality of materials is great. The black color does tend to show finger prints/smudges, I would suggest getting a mat to battle this (which I did). Two months in, I am overall very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a roomier desk to upgrade their home setup.
For those questioning the height setup capabilities, there are two bolts on each leg (8 in total) that need to be unscrewed in order to adjust the height. The easiest way I found to readjust is to flip the table upside down.
