Hate itViktorThis is the worst product that I have ever bought from Ikea. This is very unfortunate because it could have been a really great product. The base is very stable and good quality, solid construction. On the opposite, like the other reviewers mentioned, the desk top is terrible, terrible quality. It's always dirty, white marks from everything that touches it, every little piece of dust or hair is visible, it's impossible to keep clean and it scratches easily too. For $800 I expected much better quality. I just hate it. I can't return it because I'm located in Puerto Rico and here they don't accept returns unless it's "in its original packaging, unopened, unassembled and unused". My only option is to throw it away.1

REMARKABLY STABLE IN ALL POSITIONSBillAssembly was a bit tricky but once I got it figured out this is, by far, the most stable sit / stand desk that I've seen. It works flawlessly. I've added 4 monitors and all kinds of accessories to make the ultimate workstation desk. Even added wheels for moving it around the studio.5
Impossible to keep clean, the finish is not durable.JohnI bought just the desk top, and put it on my old standing desk frame, and it's a nightmare. The texture is horrible, it's impossible to keep clean, every fingerprint and speck of dust is visible. If you want it to look nice you have to wipe it down about twice a week. The finish is very easily scratched or dented, it's already wearing away just from my arms resting on it after three months.
I'm going to have to take it off my desk, sand it down and then apply an actually durable epoxy finish or just throw it away. It's complete garbage.1
Terrific desk, easily scuffedJonathanI really like how heavy and sturdy this desk is. Having an adjustable desk like this is a boon for me.
That being said, I have one major issue with this desk. The paint job is easily scuffed, and minor scratch will reveal the WHITE primer underneath. You can try repairing the scratches and scuffs yourself, but with the Matte like finish, it will be noticeable. Simply moving a monitor or keyboard for that matter will leave a mark.
Don’t get me wrong I love this desk but really the paint work needs more durability considering the price point. I’ve only had this desk for about a couple months so buyer beware. Place a mat or something underneath your peripherals. Oh and keep a rag or furniture cleaner nearby. It very easy to notice dust.3
