Comfortable enough.KevinI was hesitant to purchase as I am the first to review this... lol. Construction is solid enough for what I need it for. I will say it did feel rather flimsy right until I put the cushions into place. It's nice and heavy and has some nice solid wood features. Cushions are pretty firm but that's okay with me personally. You could sleep on this but it looks like I feel like you wouldn't get the best rest on this considering how narrow and firm the cushions are. What I intend to use it for is so my girlfriend and one of our dogs can be seated in our office while I do some work from home. I 100% accomplishes that task. A little pricey but it has enough solid wood parts here to justify it. I think..... Building this piece was very easy and the mechanism to transform into a sleeper is super simple. Solid 4/5.4
