Good bed GiadaWe have been using this bed for 2 months now and I think it is a good bed. Sturdy and well made. I don’t think it is cheaply made, honestly.
Even if We do not have a IKEA mattress, our Mattress fitted just fine; There is only a small gap on the sides but it not a big deal! You can hardly notice and it doesn’t effect the bed structure.
It was a little hard put it together. unfortunately, one of the drawers doesn’t close quite smoothly and sometimes the slats we choose, especially if you sit on the bed too hard, makes a sound. but other that that we really like it. 5
Nope. JudyWay too tall when bought as shown. Delivery was botched. And it’s just too expensive for how cheap it looks. 1
Looks great but is falling apartChandraThe bed frame looked great and we ended up buying it. Within 3 months, the draws are already falling apart and no longer aligned with the bed frame.

Only works with IKEA mattress! Otherwise nice bedJohannaBeware! The full size Tonstad bed does not work with a regular Full size mattress! You have to buy an IKEA mattress as well. Since it wasn’t noted anywhere when I bought the bed (online), I spent 2 days assembling the bed only to have my standard mattress spill over the edge… IKEA support confirmed the sizing issue and I am now waiting for them to make it right.
Otherwise, this is a really nice bed, and the oak looks great! Probably the nicest wood I’ve seen at IKEA. The drawers can fit a ton of stuff. 4
