This is less of a lamp, and more of a night light.Jason JacksonGood looking and well made, standard for Ikea (a good thing!) I was however disappointed once I turned it on, it includes a tiny E12 bulb, only .8 Watt (8/10th of one watt), and only puts out 80 lumens. Ikea should make this clear in the description.2

Perfect as a night lightAnonymus1234Our 4 year old has recently become scared of monsters and wants to sleep with the light on. Our normal lights are too bright for him to fall asleep with. Actual night lights are too dim and make monsters even more apparent in the room. This light is the perfect size and brightness. It's brightens the room enough to read a book and scare monsters away but is not too bright to fall asleep to.5
Cool design and nice glassMazi 2We love this little lamp. While soft light that would be hard to use for reading, it's perfect for our needs to add interest and a soft lighting on an entry table. The base that the bulb fits into is simple white plastic. The only thing I would change is making that base a little smoother, more finished appearance, but you can't see it anyway. It's so cute!5

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

I see TOKABO table lamp as a cute little friend who fits anywhere, on the smallest shelf or table top. Glass is my favorite material and with the light and colored surface, the effect is even nicer. The lamp looks great on its own, but the mushroom-like shapes makes you want to buy more ‒ that’s why the lamp has different colors that are fun to combine. In mystic purple and warm sandy-white, they’re like small jewels that can create atmosphere throughout the home.
