Perfect DianeExactly what I needed. Silent when the alarm isn't going. Doesn't produce a lot of light to disrupt my sleep. Battery powered so a blackout won't affect it and I can't believe how low the price is. 4
not greatMichaelafter a few months it started making weird noises. The noise got increasingly loud to the point where is started to keep me up at night. So that's not good. Some of the controls are fiddly and awkward and the labelling is hard to read. I've paid less for better alarm clocks.1

It's not advertised as silent, but if you're hoping it will be quiet, it's not. It's too bad because it looks nice (although it feels as cheap as it is).2
