The hard-wearing solid pine has natural variations in grain, color and texture, giving every piece a unique look.

If you oil, wax, lacquer or stain the untreated solid wood surface it will be more durable and easy to care for.

There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes - perfect for storing extra duvets and pillows.

You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.

Combine this bed frame with a slatted bed base with a max. thickness of 1⅝" to keep the slats hidden in the frame. The slats of a higher bed base may be visible along the sides of the bed.

Good bedAlyssaIt's a sturdy, simple bed. The fame is unfinished, so it's pretty easy to customize it to your space. Before assembly I chose to sand my bed frame with 220, then 400 sandpaper. Then i finished it with two coats of tried and true original finish. I love smooth it came out, with the woodgrain beautifully highlighted. It has a simple elegance to it that will fit in with my style as it fluctuates through the years.5

Basic, reasonable, but stickyJonathanI just put together two of these I bought for my daughter. Assembly was straightforward and simple overall. I feel like the pinewood used was really fresh when milled and CNC'd for the product. I'd have liked the wood to have been better cured before processing. Time will tell how it holds up. I get it that pine is less durable and lasting than hardwoods, but I do have some concerns about this being reasonably durable. That said, the look of the product is clean and simple. The EN1725 standard to which this product complies equates to 243 pounds max, which should be adequate, assuming there are not two larger kids jumping on them! :-)3
