Poorly made, but got it to workKarenI purchased two of these and had the problems mentioned in some of the other reviews. I wondered if it was a one off, but had the same problems with both speaker stands. I was able to get the speaker mount to stay attached to the stand by putting the screws in the other direction. I was only able to align one screw hole out of four screw holes to attach each of the speakers-all the others were misaligned. I will keep them because I have to have the stands, I got it to where it will be safe and not fall apart, and the problems and fixes are not noticeable. This is probably the poorest made item I have purchased from IKEA.2
Looks great in pictures but it is poorly designedJamalI bought two of these and tried to put them together. During this process there were two problems: 1. The back piece that connects to the stand and holds up the speaker would not stay in after you screw it in. 2. The drill holes in the brackets that hold the speaker in place was not spaced properly. These two things made it impossible to build this thing. It is a shame because I love the look of it, but I will be returning it.1
Worst product I have ever bought from IKEA!!SamanthaMaybe mine was a one off but this was so badly made that there was no way to properly connect the speaker to the stand. The alignment and spacing were way off. As I say, maybe a faulty product but I will never get that 90 minutes back. Good idea in principle but terrible quality1

Nice Speaker StandsAnthonyThese look good paired with the Symfonisk speakers. One of the first two I ordered arrived with a defect in the paint on the base. Also, it was missing a screw that is essential to assembly. So, I ordered another stand, and it was fine. This was the first time I ordered from IKEA online, and it was disappointing to learn that things can’t be returned via mail. So, I ended up paying shipping charges twice to receive three speaker stands; and , now I must return the defective speaker to a store that, for us, is 1-1/2 hours away. What could have been an OK experience (like with Amazon) turned me a little sour on the online ordering experience with IKEA.4
