You can easily create your own personal lamp with just a decorative bulb, or combine the cord set with a lampshade of your choice.

The cord set has a disc that allows you to easily adjust the cord length so that the lamp hangs at the height you want.

Use a cord set to easily adjust the length of the cord for your pendant lamp. When the lamp hangs at the perfect height, gather the remaining cord in the ceiling cup and then mount it tight to the ceiling.

Didn’t work as hopedStephenThe base plate is too large for the size of opening and location of the screws. Most light fixtures have expanded slots to accommodate, but not this one. Also the length of black and white wires to connect to the ceiling wires was inadequate. 1
The lamp base collar is too long/tall, interferes with some lightbulbsIreneThe lamp base collar is too long, and it interferes with some lightbulbs, e.g. with IKEA SOLHETTA LED lightbulb that has a shorter neck... For the reference, I was trying to use SUNNEBY cord / lamp base with KALLFRONT shade and SOLHETTA LED lightbulb. The long collar prevents lightbulb from making good contact with the lamp base, and the light does not work.3
