Pot isn't fully coated, allows damage to woodJasonWell, shoot! This was a beautiful trio of little succulents, but the pot isn't fully coated, which means that the uncoated terracotta bottom allows the moisture to seep through to your wood (sill, counter, table) underneath. This isn't apparent unless you remove the plastic inner pot (which you might not until it's time to water). Anyway, the bamboo top of my built-in is now visibly water damaged. This problem is solvable with a tray or plate underneath the pot (but only if you realize it in advance). Dang it. This is really a bummer -- very nice built-in of architectural birch plywood. [Sigh]2
