Pop up Easy, fold up AwfulJenniferThis is great for beach use, but I seriously struggled to fold it up. It took me 20 minutes with the help video on repeat. The ease of pop up is not worth the hassle of pack up. 3

Good quality but HORRIBLE to foldCarrieWe got this for our dog to use on the beach. We love the quality of the material, because it stood up just fine against our 100lb dog. But trying to get it to fold back into itself for storage? Nearly impossible. We thought maybe we were having trouble because of wind the few times we had it out. But when we tried at home, it just was not cooperating. We even found a video to follow along with. Sadly, it's now in the trash because one of the rods bent as we were "following the directions" (and yes, we worked with solid intent at staying calm & gentle.....it just gave out on us).2
Bed time conquered!AngelaWhen my son was born his grandmother lived with us. She insisted he sleep with her. When she moved out guess what... he still wanted to sleep with someone. Que mom. I baught this thing thinking it would be a fun little hidy hole for story time. He wanted it put on his bed and now i don't have to cuddle him to sleep! We still cuddle of course but i don't have to wait till he's asleep anymore to get to bed myself. It's great!5
Smaller than SommervindEricAnother great beach pop up tent from IKEA. I would consider this is a one adult (I'm 5'11") tent. For more than one person (even an adult and a child), I recommend choosing the Sommervind...which is the blue beach tent by IKEA. This one has nice pockets for "stuff" and pockets to fill with sand to anchor the tent. The window placement is also better than the Sommervind, as you can look out sitting up and it cools the tent better. Also, this one is a bit lighter than Sommervind, but hard to tell the difference in use. Pop up tents are great, just as long as you learn how to fold it up...watch the video.5

More Awful Than GoodRebeccaThis pops up with no effort! It lets in the breeze from the mesh, and it fits one person sitting down inside of it. However, this is a nightmare to fold and fit back in its case. I could not imagine this material lasting more than a few uses with how much effort needed to re-fold it. For that reason, would not recommend.2
