They are low enough price that I don't care if they get left behind, ruined, kept by a friend, etc. We use them for warmth, for sitting on the ground, as a bleacher bench cushion, even shade. I always have at least 2 or 3 in the back of my car, and kids know they can grab and use them for anything when we're at the park/beach/ballfield/practices without asking and I'm not worried about them. If they come home to get washed, great. If I never see them again, also great.5
