Mostly ok and what we expectedDeborahColor is what I needed. Size good. Two concerns though. 1) three weeks since it was rolled out and put on top of the recommended pad and we’re still getting a weird off-gassing kind of smell. Wondering how long this will go in for. 2) one edge of it doesn’t really want to fully unfurl. It was the inner edge, so the one rolled up most tight. The 4-5” are rippled on the back side, creating little furrows on the carpet side. It’s been flat for three weeks, vacuumed a number of times. No idea how to effectively flatten these grooves. When you flip the carpet edge, you can see that the polypropylene (?) backing is what’s rippled. Since it’s the machine made, makes me wonder if our rug was the very end of a roll! 4
Size is rightWendyNeeded the size for entry hall and it worked perfectly… But the quality is not as good as it should be for the price. Color is OK. This is the only carpet style left in the size at Ikea. They have discontinued the rest.4

The rug is greyHillaryIt's a beige-grey color. It's soft and pretty, but the threads going in different directions leave shading marks when vacuuming. Additionally, if your couch is grey, tan, or oatmeal, this color might match too closely.4

Not safe for petsEmilio AIf you own small animals (in my case, a dog), DO NOT buy this rug! I ordered two of these rugs from my local Ikea, and from the moment I unpacked them, they had a strange smell and felt greasy underfoot. Less than three hours after installation, I started feeling unwell—runny nose, and just an overall weird sensation. My girlfriend experienced the same, and then my small dachshund began vomiting, refusing to eat, and seemed lethargic.
I went online and quickly found horror stories about synthetic rugs and how the vapors they emit can make both people and small animals sick. About an hour ago, I removed the rugs, and my dog's behavior changed almost immediately—she seems back to normal now.
I repeat: DO NOT buy this synthetic rug if you care about your pets' health. I’m returning it today and purchasing a 100% wool rug instead.1

Tripping HazardJudithNice quality rug but bunches up, does not lay flat even when I set heavy furniture on it, it manages to bunch up in ripples. I purchased this rug years ago and it was fine, but this new purchase, safety is an issue. I have only had it about a week, so hoping it improves.3
