We got the slats to go with the bed, but purchased a mattress from elsewhere, which works perfectly. The bed is sturdy and fits nicely in the smaller bedroom.

Beautiful, solid.KimberlyI purchased 3 of these bed frames, 1 queen and 2 twin. My only complaint is that the last one I purchased (a twin) had been re-packaged into one box. (Previous purchases were split between 2 boxes). The 2 boxes were perfectly manageble by a single female (loaded and unloaded into my car, no issue). The one box was NOT manageable. I had to open it and un-pack it because it was too heavy (> 60 lbs.) and awkward to load into my car. Change may be good for Ikea, but is bad for the customer.

Easy to assemble. Easy to fall apart.YasminIt was easy to assemble however it comes apart easily. If you plant on putting it together use wood glue to help strength the joints.

AnonymousI bought this bed about a year ago, took it apart to move to another apartment which made it super easy to move and it's still in great shape.
Sturdy, good looking bedframeAnonymousJust put this together. It goes together fast. The rails are heavy, so trying to put this together by yourself will require you prop up one end. Easier with a friend to help for a couple of minutes. Instructions should warn you to watch the rails for which edge has the foil seam, so you orient it facing down. Looks great and fits IKEA mattresses perfectly.
