Attractive simple bed SarahAssembly was straight forward and rather easy in terms of IKEA products. The side slats were tricky if not pressed in far enough for the bolt to catch, but once I got it close enough to the headboard it all went smoothly from there. I read the description before purchase so I knew the materials used for this bed were not of premium quality. We had a few scratches on the head board straight out of the box & just assumed it was from friction when being shipped. It’s small enough we can live with it, but I’m not confident its polished appearance will withstand the test of time. Regardless, our child loves this bed so far and feels very sophisticated with the walnut finishing of her choice.4
Hard to assemblyKarlaThe “L” tool doesn’t fit, I couldn’t assembly correctly. There is a gap between bed frame and side2
Great Bed for a "Big Boy"JessicaWe got the twin Songesand bed to match the color of the PBK dresser in our son's big boy room. The bed was easily assembled with two people. We got the slats to go with the bed, but purchased a mattress from elsewhere, which works perfectly. The bed is sturdy and fits nicely in the smaller bedroom. 5
Great BedEmilyThis is a great bed. It wasn't too hard for me to put together myself, and it is sturdy and looks nice. 5
Fantastic bed, unbeatable priceJoyOutstanding twin bed at an unbeatable price! Solid, sturdy, and a nice clean design. Our tween daughter chose it for her room remodel, and my husband and I put it together quickly - no assembly problems at all. (One person could also put it together on their own.) Three heights to chose from for the mattress when assembling. The supporting slats you must buy separately at IKEA, and the bed came with hardware to keep them in place. Good air flow under the mattress due to the slats. We got the dark brown finish and didn’t buy the version with the storage drawers underneath (I plan to store items under the bed on the floor), as I really dislike assembling drawers and didn’t want to pay extra for them considering we don’t need them. It looks great in her room and is solid and comfortable - no squeaking or moving. We might get the coordinating nightstand too. Thanks, IKEA! 5

Perfect for my son to grow withAnonymous reviewerWe bought this bed as a transition from his toddler bed. It looks nice and is surprisingly comfortable and roomie. I was able to put it together pretty easily and mostly by myself. It's pretty lightweight and easy to manage, as well.5
When the boys began usingDianneWhen the boys began using the drawers they came apart and had to be put back together. The drawers should be stronger3
